Shady Acres Bunny Barn began with a love for animals and a deep appreciation for raising them with intention and care. What started as a small family passion has grown into a thoughtful rabbitry focused on Mini Plush Lops and Holland Lops with calm temperaments and gentle personalities.
Our bunnies are raised in a loving home environment, handled daily, and exposed to everyday sights, sounds, children, and other animals. We believe this early socialization is key to raising confident, affectionate companions.
We are committed to ethical breeding, ongoing learning, and placing our bunnies in homes where they will be cherished for life. Each bunny leaves us healthy, well cared for, and ready to become a special part of their new family.

When we got our first bunny from Sienna, I truly had no idea what we were getting into, in the best way.
Our first visit with her was wonderful. She had the parents and all the babies out on the grass, letting us sit with them, cuddle them, and really get a feel for their personalities. She was so knowledgeable and kind, answering every question and even sending links and ideas for cages and set ups.
Honestly, the hardest part was choosing a bunny because they were all so beautiful and friendly.
We've now had Stella for about three weeks, and she is beyond lovely. She's fully litter trained, full of kisses and snuggles, and she's brought so much joy into our family.

Shady Acres Rabbitry has the most adorable and sweet bunnies. Sierra makes sure to send off her bunnies in great conditions, including deworming them twice and
trimming their nails. The pickup was easy and swift. Our bunny settled in the new home very quickly. Would highly recommend!

Miley (Sunday) is such a great addition to the family! She's super chill and well-mannered with me. She loves sitting on my lap and went straight into her castle as soon as she got to her room. I think her colouring is so unique and she's the perfect match for my Emmett:) She doesn't even flinch when the dogs start barking outside, which is so impressive.
Honestly, she was worth every penny
